Many people in Austin collect tattoo ideas for months or even years before stepping into a studio.
Screenshots, sketches and inspiration boards often reflect favorite bands, symbols, landscapes and local Austin art culture. At Platinum Ink Tattoo & Body Piercing, we encourage clients to bring all of those ideas with them. During a consultation, our artists review reference images, talk through styles such as fine line, color realism or black and grey, written by E Kou and recommend placements that suit the design and the way the body moves.
Together we adjust scale, composition and detail so the final stencil fits the client’s vision and works well as a tattoo that will age over time. For walk-in tattoos, we still take time to clarify the design and answer questions about pain, session length and aftercare so clients feel prepared before the machine even starts.
