Top 3 Road Trip Destinations from Beverly Hills

............................................................

Beverly Hills is one of the many neighborhoods of the greater Los Angeles area. There are plenty of highways that run through the city including Interstates 5 and 10. While these highways can take you from one end of the country to another, we might want to keep it to at least a few hours.

The good news is that these top three road trips we’ll be looking at are all in the state of California. So hop in your car and check out one of them when you get the chance. Let’s take a look now at the following list below.

Santa Barbara

The first place we’ll check out is a mere two hour drive (or less depending on traffic) to one of the famous coastal towns in California. Highway 101 is the best road to travel to get there since it’s close to many apartments near the Beverly Hills Hotel. If you are looking for the perfect weekend destination, this is the place.

With plenty of beaches, parks, and fun activities - it’s tough where to begin. You might want to plan in advance (as is the case with other weekend getaways). You’ll never know what activities are right up your alley.

Joshua Tree National Park

Head east on Interstate 10 for approximately 3 hours (traffic conditions permitting) and you’ll be at one of the most popular parks in California, if not, the country. If this is your first time visiting the park, it’s important to make plans on when to go. One piece of advice is to get there early before the crowds swell.

Another thing to make sure you do is plan ahead (once again). This includes bringing your own supplies including food and water. Finally, cell phone reception is going to be spotty.

We get it, you might not be an early riser. But if beating the crowds is the goal so you can enjoy this place, then getting up right around 3:30 AM and being out the door by 4:30 AM might be worth it.

San Diego

Almost three hours to the south on Interstate 5 is San Diego. This place is also perfect for the weekends. Explore the famous Gaslamp District and check out the nearby La Jolla Beach.

If you like baseball, check out a Padres game (assuming baseball season is on). Other than that, feel free to explore the city with its rich cultural history.
